-walks out and sees jake asleep- you fool...... -starts coughing and falls to knees- dang.....I hate this.....-sits against the wall-

-his breathing is ragged-

"Alex....take the medicine...." he whispered

-sees the medicine and shakes head- .....I hate pills.....I rather deal with this...~whispers to self~ -sits on the bed and stares at jake-

-laughs softly-

"I can....crush them up..."

-tries to use his arms to get up-

jake, have you ever seen me take medicine since we met? -smiles a bit still shaking-

-arms give out-

damn it.....and no.

-walks over to him and sits next to him helping him up even though I still have a fever- I hate pills and medicine....jake -still shaking a bit-

-looks at her worried, one of his eyes swelled shut-

You need to take it...please. For me..

-looks at jake- kay -takes one of the pills and looks at jake- there.... -looks at his eye- jake...what happened?

-waves it off-

Im good. Just a scratch

no -pulls him into the bathroom- take it off -points to shirt-

-relunctantly takes off his shirt-

-starts to clean the injuries-

-winces-

The town....was more overrun than I thought...

yea -starts to clean his face even though hand is shaking still-

-smiles softly-

I got you your medicine. Thats whats important

-voice sounds far away-

-looks at jake- jake...stay awake -finishes cleaning and turns on the tub-

-looks at the dried blood all over him-

Guess I got a bit carried away...

your fine --turns off water- ill leave the room so you can get in and ill be back so I can clean the blood off ok.... -starts to leave the room-

-slides jeans off and tests the water-
