>The sons meet up with Indra noticing that Ashura had changed and ashura nites the same to indra as they both talk idealistically to each other Ashura is certain indra will be the successor but he doesn't admit this to his brother though his brother knows his feelings however indra is more distant from his brother, something Ashura doesn't like. Ashura tries to joke with his brother a bit but Indra merely responds with Ashura and occasional disgust noting that he and Ashura are royalty and they should act like royalty.
>The sage is ready to give his answer, both indra and ashura give their answers, after which the sage chooses Ashura's way,after much consideration.
>Ashura is shocked but honored, and Indra us appalled yet disturbed, he storms off and Ashura is worried for his brother but the sage tells him not to worry as Indra will come to terms with this, a notion Ashura agrees with.
>Indra is mulling over, over the months that pass about his father's decision, black zetsu comes and tells indra that he is HIS will born from his hatred for his family. >Indra sends a hawk to tell his brother to meet him at a remote location and and they confront each other, as the battle goes Ashira reveals that the sage entrusted him with the bijuu and the bijuu have bonded with Ashura but indra quickly subjugated the beast much to Ashura's disapproval. Ashura then releases the beast from indra's control wanting to leave then out of this battle but not before taking some of their chakra.
>As the battle scars the lands and landscapes Ashura grows to hate this and tells his brother he will give up his rights if they can just be a family again. Indra is enraged by this and chooses that the ootsutsuchi clan is worthless to him and he renames his last name as Uchiha as the fans that will destroy Ashura and fan the flames of peace, Ashura seeing as to how the otsutsuchi clan has done nothing but sever his family, also renames himself the senju, the one that spreads love to counter the uchiha's fans that fan the flames of hatred.
>They both fight for days on end until ultimately their final attacks destroy their bodies and this ends the story of Ashura of indra as they reincarnate across the ages until eventually reincarnating into Naruto and sasuke.
