Post an equivalent to Guy nearly killing Madara

Crap. It's "of Guy" and not "to Guy", right? Sorry, grammar police. Haven't been reading and writing as much as I used to. Been busy working.

But anyway...
Seeing a supporting character like Guy have his way with the main villian at the time was so damn gratifying. Don't think I've ever seen anything like it in any other manga. Not in a TV show or movie either.

Equivalents would be:
- Master Roshi using a forbidden transformation and whooping on Kid Buu.
- Sanji unlocking a new kicking technique and opening up a can of whoop a$$ on Black Beard.
- Basil evolving his Vongola Box and soloing Byakuran.
- Green Arrow using new arrows specially made for Darkseid and damn near kills him with them.
- Ant-man developing new tech and using it to decimate Thanos.

I tried to come up with examples from Fairy Tail and Bleach, but didn't feel like Googling characters' names because I'm not familiar with those manga.

So, those are my examples, which are obviously fanfiction. Do you have any real examples of supporting characters beating the crap out of the big bad guy?

Isn't Lucy the female main character? I used to read FT, so I'd say that that metal-using guy with long black hair is a supporting character on the same level as Guy. They don't have much/many screen-time/panels, but show up every now and then to do badass stuff.

That Metal guy is actually the main character's rival. Who has similar powers as him. Who gets similar power ups as he does. He is far above Gai level in the series. If Gai was Naruto's rival it would make sense. But considering he is Kakashi's (who is like the third most wanked character by Kishi). This comparison seems out of the question.

Well Gray and Gajeel are both rivals of Natsu Dragneel. They both give a different vibe in the style they rival him. Gray and Natsu sorta have a competitive nature in terms of anything. Natsu and Gajeel have it while they are fighting amongst each other. I get the Kakashi vs Gai rivalry feel from Natsu Vs Gray rivalry. Where as I get a Goku Vs Vegeta feel from the Natsu Vs Gajeel rivalry.

Laxus is that kinda guy however he too has been getting developed constantly since he came. Basically in Fairy Tail there are many number of characters who get developed. So its really hard to point out who gets less development. Cause both series follow a different concept of the side character role. I guess I would compare Gai's development to Mira Jane's development?

Hard to find an example, since the main character is a bad dude himself. If we count BB as a "Bad dude", then we did have the scenario where Maggellan was whipping them (but that was a short fight tho). Idk, has one piece shown any legit side 1 vs 1 fights that don't include the Main characters?
