I believed it until the bold. Making someone else step down would imply that they would want to take their position. We all know Boruto has no interest in becoming Hokage. I know he wants his dad to spend more time with him, but becoming stronger than Naruto in a short time and forcing him to quit is an impossible goal.

Another reason why I think this is fake, is because Boruto outright stated "He doesn't want to become the Hokage"

In the Manga, and in the latest movie synopsis translated by OrganicDinosaur. Something seems fishy about it.

Step down so Naruto would spend more time with him rather than his job, it doesn't say he wants to become hokage, in fact its says he's frustrated at the title and doesn't understand Narutos reasons for being so fond of it, he obviously doesn't know its Narutos dream job

He won't train her Lol, he doesn't give 2 shits about her or Sakura, it should be pretty obvious by now seeing as he hasn't contacted them in 12 years despite having a phone or havign a hawk that can send a message or simply go to Konoha and meet them.

Everything hasn't been explained yet. You're just taking things at face value,and making negative assumptions.

I'm sure the bold meant that he would make naruto only just step down. no where does it indicate (or from what i see) that Boruto wants him to step down to "become Hokage himself".

Not really, the fact that he says repeatedly that he doesn't even wanna become hokage means that the position doesn't mean anything to him, he just wants to show up his dad. Tbh, for me it gives a bit more context to Bolt's previous statement. Another thing is that we have repeatedly seen how Bolt wants to surpass Naruto. Wanting to make him step down would make sense.

Also this proves that there is a timeskip in the Boruto the movie because in the gaiden they aren't even genin yet.

Yeah, Naruto had quite a few missions in the time between graduating and the start of his exam. If the movie is about the Chuunin exams, then maybe we'll at least get to see graduation and the new genin teams before the end of Gaiden.

That's interesting that Sasuke refuses....In the trailer for the movie it clearly said Master when his face was shown so I wonder if he changes his mind. If not then he needs to train Sarada because it's really kinda messed up if he doesn't train his own daughter.

I agree. That seems like the best way to wrap it up...which means the Sasuke/Sarada problem should be over by then. It wouldn't make sense to drag it out if there's a time skip. Especially since the movie is about Boruto.
