From chapter 645 we can see that Obito planned on finally starting the infinite tsukuyomi.
But he also summoned the juubi. Now what was the purpose of this?
I think he brought out the juubi but he is still connected to it like naruto and minato are connected to their BM kurama avatars. he may have done this because the juubi's eye could be a doujutsu and it is to be used to cast infinite tsukuyomi. I think this because of 2 reasons
1. He wouldn't need to bring out the juubi if only his sharingan was needed.
2. The symbol for infinite tsukuyomi resembles the Juubi's eye.
Other reasons could be
- He brought out the juubi to keep the father-son duo busy while he casts infinite tsukuyomi. The Juubi is weak against senjutsu attacks. This means the Juubi is at risk. which is why I didn't choose this reason.
- He transformed into the juubi to finish everyone off. And begin the infinite tsukuyomi.
I could be wrong though. What do you guys think the reason(s) is for Obito bringing out the Juubi?
