Remember that Minato tagged him that night.

Besides the fact i always wondered why he didn't cut his head with his first hiraishin blitz instead of , i always wonder why after releasing the Kyubi, why didn't he followed him with a hiraishin blitz and finish the job. People may say that he probably wanted to save the village before which is also true, but i got another idea about it

What if when Obito disappeared infront of Minato , he disappeared to hide in his kamui dimension instead of going back somewhere else?

If it's really how it is, then:

- Could Minato follow someone who is in Kamui's dimension?
- If smh Minato could and had followed the marking, wouldn't he be trapped in Obito's dimension? Could he come back?

For the second question it depends on the first, since if he can enter the dimension, it means that he can somehow localise his kunais even if they are not in the same dimension, so coming back should not be a problem also

But anyway, so maybe by hiding in his dimension, Minato couldn't localise Obito's position anymore since eventhough he had a marking on him, both dimensions are different and Obito was hiding in that dimension at that moment(eventhough he can only do that for 5minutes in continue), and because of that, he simply decided to take care of the village instead

Thoughts?

I don't think his jutsu can cross dimensions. If it could it would be an effective jutsu for Naruto to learn.

This^^ Konoha > killing obito. As hokage he has the responsibility to protect the leaf so he went to do that and there met his death with the kyuubis nail....

Well I think that he was more worried about the Kyuubi and the villiage at that point - he had an obligation as Hokage.

So he decided it'd be better to put faith in Naruto as opposed to taking out Obito while the village was destroyed.

That said, I don't see why he couldn't move between dimensions if he had the proper sealed kunai or mark in both dimensions. Unfortunately this will never by able to be proven and will come down to opinion, so I'll leave it at that.
