Possible reason why Kishi made Sasuke want to be a Hokage

Maybe Kishi is trying to recreate the whole Hashirama and Madara situation. Hashirama wanted Madara to become the hokage. But Tobirama, the other villagers and even his clan didn't want him to become Hokage. In this case maybe Naruto wants Sasuke to become hokage but the leaf villagers won't accept him just like they did with Madara and Naruto would become hokage. This could result in Naruto VS Sasuke or Sasuke becoming the hokage to end the cycle.

I still don't like it. Changing Sasuke's entire paradigm simply for a final fight shows Kishi has no appreciation for Sasuke the character.

We wouldn't know about that if Sasuke would become Hokage... Madara's hatred continued because the village chose Hashirama other than Madara.

Nope, i disagree he's wrong and so is everyone else. Why? Because why would he make a 2 part series and make the second part about hate and peace? Unless he's going to continue the series with naruto's son or konohamaru or sasuke's son.

I don't know why but I think sasuke said so as a way of motiveing naruto he knows that's been naruto's dream since they were kids and when ever someone try's to use sarcasm on him by saying that they are going to be hokages or belittle him he gets fired up and prove them wrong look at the time on there first mission away from the village and sasuke called him a scaredy cat and look how he proved him wrong on other occasion like in the forest of death back with the Chunin exam and when he was fighting kiba and kiba said he was going to hokage and that he can't beat him and you see how he proved him wrong. So I think he said it not in a serious manner but a way of getting naruto pumped up to fight.......
