I've noticed something that could help tie in with my previous thread;

I don't think many people have noticed this quite yet..
Between these two pages...

Did you notice it?

I'll help you out;
In the first one, Madara has his armor on, and hashi's left arm is perfectly fine. Last thing we see is hashi's hand clasped, a huge plume of smoke, and the EMS.
But, in the next page, Hashi's arm is damaged, it's raining, it's night, madara's armor is gone, and enough time has passed to allow the plume of smoke to settle.

It appears there was a time skip between these two pages, and that the close up of the EMS, in the first page, is not directly related to the next page, and that quite a bit more fighting was done after kyuubi was released. These guys fought for a very long time. Just putting this out there for anyone who missed it and who's making threads.

*If this was the effects of tsukuyomi, then it's pretty sure that hashi would notice this, and that madara would not have been actually stabbed within a genjutsu.

well at least the art of stating the obvious has not been lost on narutobase maybe you should tell people that is the valley of the end as well that they are standing in

Read some more threads. Some people haven't noticed that these two panels aren't directly linked in terms of time space.

Oh, btw, This is the valley of the end they're standing in. The statues were built later. XD

good theory but i think it was due to how long they fought and plus the rain could have been from Armor clad Kurama attacks while Hashirama's summon blocked and punched it..Could be jus that they changed the topography of the area since it was once wooded with a small river and now it's a huge hole with water coming down.

The destructive power displayed in the epic battle left a scar in the earth that would come to be called the Valley of the End.[2][3] With the waterfall serving as a border between the Land of Fire and the land that was later known as the Land of Sound, the valley was later memorialised with two giant statues of the main combatants: Hashirama on the Land of Fire's side of the waterfall and Madara on the opposite side to symbolise his defection from their village.[2] The statues are posed to make the Traditional Shinobi Sparring's Seal of Confrontation (対立の印, Tairitsu no In), which is protocol before a duel.

I understood this time skip as :

Madara regains control of the Kyuubi, fighting continues, he loses control of the Kyuubi, fighting continues, and then we arrive at the next panel.

Yup. I think that's so too. Kishi may also have realised people would start getting frustrated with too many flashback chapters.

@Almighty Ra - Yea I thought of that also, that the water could be from river water blasted into the air and falling back down. Still, a good bit of time had passed between these events.

It still doesn't solve how Madara survived the stabbing, so the only logical conclusion is that prior or during the fight, Madara used a form of genjutsu

*If this was the effects of tsukuyomi, then it's pretty sure that hashi would notice this, and that madara would not have been actually stabbed within a genjutsu.

Its possible Madara wanted to create a wound to implant Hashi's cells into, Hashirama is not immune to genjutsu

I feel like you stole this from my thread earlier D:

I'm not accusing you, I actually agree though :). It seems like there was a slight time skip where the fighting took place and they both were drained of chakra, and Hashi got beat up a bit.
