Madara is the prodigy of Uchiha Clan, Obito was the 'black sheep' of the clan who got lucky because Madara trained him. Obito relies solely on Kamui and the occasional other technique, add that to Madara's immortality and unlimited chakra, Madara would know about a weak spot and protect it. The only one who can break the seal is Madara, because it's Madara's seal. xd
