[Theory] Possiable time skip

Now i have a theory,

at the end of the war naruto and tobi/madara have an epic battle similar to when he had fought hashirama. in the end naruto defeats him. sasuke realizes that the plan had failed. so he retreats. goes rogue, again. and over this time we will see a time skip, naruto goes to trains in mount myoboku with shima and fukasaku. (the to little toads that helped him defeat pain) they help him create a NEW mode. Rikudo/ sage mode. after they help him master the new mode he has nothing else to learn from the the toads of mount myoboku. he returns to the leaf village.

Sasuke, while going rogue he finds new allies. they will help him complete his goal in destroying the leaf village.

Naruto realizeing his plan will do anything to protect the leaf village and keep peace in the world. this is when the time skip will stop. and naruto goes on the quest to stop sasuke.

discuss, debate please. i really want to hear what you guys think about my theory. and if you have your own, feel free to share. peace and thankyou for your time.

i dont see him combining rikudo and sage mode, but yea i believe their will be some sort of time skip in which naruto becomes kind of like how jiriya was gathering intel for the village, helping when needed etc.

you are intitled to your opinion. but wouldnt it just be for him to keep on changing from sage mode and rikudo mode. and plus i honesty think that rikudo mode is better that sage mode. and dont you think that it would be way better if he combined both techniques ?

of course it would be better but its impractical seeing as in order to make sage chakra u gotta balance it with your internal strength and mental strength, but rikudo mode has nothing to do with either, its the nine tails chakra which naruto doesn't use his internal strength and mental strength to create therefore its not really possible. i used to toy with the idea of his 0 tails nine tailed state combined with sage mode but thats not possible anymore

and know to you question you dont think if madara win the war there would be more naruto as you say a time skipping imagine it passes about 3 to 5 year since madara take over the world and naruto and a few character are the rebellians for this dictator i think that would be cool but again is just my opinion feel free to comment on it

It's highly unlikely simply because Sasuke isn't the kind of guy to retreat and start with a new plan. Sasuke is used to going forward and doesn't care that much about his odds of winning. Take for example him at the kage summit then quickly after fighting Danzo and then wanting to fight Kakashi and then Naruto. To put it simply, the reason why this theory doesn't sound plausible is because of Sasuke. A timeskip would also be a bit pointless since Naruto and Sasuke will be the 2 strongest shinobi ever and there would be no more obstacles for Naruto to face to get to him. But then again, we won't know until we get there.

Sasuke having a team? He doesn't like Madara that much, or atleast respect him. He hates everyone. He left Suigetsu and Jugo to die, and actually wanted/tried to kill Karin.

I really don't see a timeskip at all due to Naruto and Sasuke being so powerful. Who would the villains be? It'd be a really bad idea in my opinion, and I just don't see it happening.

hey i would have to agree that there's no possibility of a time skip ... simply bcoz he has made naruto and sasuke quite strong ... in the option of there being a time skip ... they would have to indroduce villains stronger than they have now ... and plus the question .. Where were they during the current shinobi world war ... and what happens to the rest of the ninjas arround ... Kishi has stopped all their growth and is only focused on naruto and sasuke ,,, like the rest are not training but rather gone on a long vacation (including Sakura) ... Hence i dont see a time skip ... Though if they did find a way for the future ... allowing all ninjas to become stronger ... i would Watch

It's either this or he simply dies, because i don't see him returning home to konoha(except in a coffin).

Personally, i want the series to stop after this war, since the power levels are already ridiculous and for a time skip to make sense you need other villains who are on naruto's level, which means ridoulous cartoonish characters who can hold several planets in their palms.
Plus sasuke does not think clearly and he is clouded by hatred,so it would be out of character for him to suddenly THINK.......
