I am out to capture,
The world as I contemplate.
To portray it all.​

A haiku should have 17 syllables; no more and no less.

5 syllables on the first line,
7 on the second,
and 5 on the third.

Nearly, but not quite.

Yeah I'm not very good at haikus, -.-' but hey atleast I flowed out my thoughs.

True. But that rule is much more difficult to accomplish in english. Either way, on modern haiku, it's not used that much now, so it's perfectly okay. This is part of a challenge I made him and I did mention the rule and how it was okay to be broken. I'm sorry to butt in, just wanting to clear things up for him k:
