If the character popularity pool would be taken again...Who do you think would be the most popular characters? If we look at NB we see that by number of threads made about them Sasuke,Itachi,Sakura and Madara are the ones who are frequently the hot topic. Do you think that the taste of general audience would be different ?

I think itachi was fan favorite for a long time, not sure though. If they took it now Sasuke, kakashi or naruto would probably be fan favorite

I agree. Minato even though I dislike him would probably be in the top 10

Some real strange people on NB, so I suspect the contest would be closer than you might think. For me though, Jiraiya was the most interesting and charismatic character. Too bad Kishimoto killed him off.

For example there never was such hype over him...But yeah taste is a subjective thing.
