Shishui's eyes are one of the most sought after things in the entire manga/anime.. Kabuto wants them, tobi wants them and danzo got one... Shishui , before killing himself had to make sure his eye was protected as their would be fights for it and thus gave itachi... Eyes like that cannot fall into wrong hands, which is why Itachi destroyed them... and dazno crushed his... if they got into tobi's or kabuto's hands, who knows what they'd do with it
