I am not bashing the chapter, but it was nothing special; it was full of flashbacks as the usual chapters are.
The only interesting part about this chapter is that Kaguya also had the Byakugan, but since those eyes were neglected a lot in the past it feels like a random information.
Does Kishi expect us to believe that Sasuke said the same thing as Naruto; that he will protect everyone else?
It was a better chapter that the previous one, but in the same time a poor one; a waste of a chapter like the previous ones. A waste of 2 weeks; at least it seems to be over…
The only good part about this is that the conversation was short, only 2 chapters, and we are returning to Guy’s fight. Finally. The only page dedicated to him in this chapter makes it worth reading.
Guess what? The battle was off-paneled. In 669 Guy had his jacket, now he does not. Madara also was not so injured. Instead of giving more pages to the important things Kishi wasted pages on overused scenes, flashbacks and on collages with Naruto being in the center of his friends as we seen in this chapter.
The sage is a huge letdown. Maybe his brother raised his children better and not fostered one of them. He might have been smarter and had only on child.
