No, I understand that. But it would be easier for that to work if Hashirama had help from Mito.

His healing abilities are the best, huge chakra reserves, Wood dragon that can supress even the tailed beasts, can make the battlefield for his advantage, defeated EMS Madara with Kurama and perfect Susano'o and so on. Those things are facts and puts him in Top 5 in my list.

True. But we have not seen him do anything. We have basically the same information about Hiruzen.

I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm just saying that for all the recent Hashirama hype, we haven't seen him do crap. Hell, he even got his surprisingly tanned butt handed to him by Old Man Third.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Itachi is the most overrated character.

People think he can beat people like Madara, Hashirama, Rinnegan Obito, Nagato and etc..they say he "solo'd" a character even though there is clearly another person helping him (vs. Nagato and vs.Kabuto).

The most overrated would be Danzo, Shisui, Itachi, Kakashi, Nagato, Hashirama, and probably others that I forgot. Basically anyone with either a forbidden technique or a very powerful jutsu that people think that character will one shot everyone.
