Not really. We simply live in a time where people are more open to challenging things that bother them. Really, it's not so hard to know your crowd. In a public forum such as this, obviously you can say what you want, people can't tell you not to say certain terms, but that also means you can't tell people how to respond. You can't advocate for your freedom of speech to say things that people disapprove of, but then tell them they can't use their freedom of speech to say they disapprove.

If you're in a professional environment, you have to be aware of their standards and realize that freedom of speech doesn't mean you can say whatever you want, whenever you want. If you're in an environment that has authority over you, like in a workplace or school, and they demand "political correctness," you have the choice of saying "No," but they have the right to give you the consequences as they see fit.

In a public forum such as this, you can be PC if you want to or not, and if people challenge you doing either, you can choose to defend your choice, or ignore them.

PC is such a joke though. A big joke.

People can't even say disabled anymore. They must say "differently abiled "

There are two types of people in politics these days: People who are way too sensitive, and people who are completely insensitive.

We need a balance.

Freedom of speech doesn't entitle you to freedom of consequence or responsibility. Say whatever you will, because you know what the outcome will be. And the bold is absolutely made up.

At the end of the day, you can either hold your tongue and keep the peace. Or spew purposely nasty comments and cause an uproar which only worsens the human condition. Everyone who wants relative peace needs to understand that they must share the responsibility.

It's a co-operative effort.

And what is the outcome?

It depends on the individual situation. But whatever you say, you know the specific outcome. I can't abide people who expect to say whatever they want, especially when it hurts innocent people, and expect no repercussions.

And it's the same people who always act like they didn't know what would happen. Sheer stupidity, self-righteousness, arrogance and deplorability.

Balance in the human race isn't going to happen any tome soon. Certainly not going to be in politics first.

Well depending on what it is i believe in common sense and i also believe in saying whats on your mind

The common sense part is you insult me well be prepared for a fist in the face

The saying whats on your mind well i will listen to what you have to say

People just need to be more laid back and not so sensitive and listen before making judgements

And the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
