Okay so is political correctness and the need to accept everything going a little to far?
I don't have a whole research report but I can remember things I heard and saw like>>>
In relation to transgenders
Trying to /talking about not having gender based bathrooms.
Why..just why do you think you have to do this? If you have male parts go in to the male bathroom, if you have female parts go into the female bathroom. If you're transgender get ready to make a decision that will shape your life. LOL, what exactly do you want people to do besides make a bathroom separate for transgender. Merging bathrooms or taking away the signs is just going to end up with so many problems. Is this really that big of a deal. Just go with what parts you have and go. (If you identify with a woman but still have male parts still go in male. There are people who will take advantage of such a situation to go into a girls bathroom....for real. LOL)
Changing toy labels
I forgot which store it was (maybe target) but some person was saying that the toy section was segregated and that the girl toys should be with the boy toys. Are these the rights we are fighting for now? Toy segregation? You used the word segregation.....like really? My littles sister never liked "girl" toys and would always get boy toys from Mcd's or a store. She is straight, wears dresses, dresses like most girls, and all that jazz but never was she disturbed by the fact girl toys were with boy toys. You are about to ask a store to restructure everything for no real good reason and the social media populace will just go "yeah that's a good idea. WE SHOULD ACCEPT EVERYONE!" Umm you're being accepted but honestly that just makes it really organized imo. Those toys have heavy female connotation and others have heavy male connotations but nothing is stopping you from getting either one. Putting them together is just a mess. LOL, like its not a big deal. Whats next...dresses aren't for girls???? Again no one is stopping you from buying what you buy. You're accepted now just go be happy instead of nitpicking at every little thing.
Transgender
Like the whole Kaitlyn Jenner thing rubbed me the wrong way. Not because that he was transgender and wanted to be a female, but how everyone was acting like he rescued 10,000 puppies out of a burning building. Was he brave in coming out? Yes, but a hero??? Then everyone felt like they had to say he was soooooo beautiful as a woman. He was even compared to Katy freakin Perry! WHATTTT! If we are judging him as a woman then NOOOOOO! Again, ppl feel like they have to be politically correct so they don't say anything.
Good for Kaitlyn Jenner but its no need to go overboard to make sure they are accepted. Also if you don't agree with something that doesn't make you a bad person. Comedians even strayed away from jokes about KJ cuz social media was killing people over him. I think Jamie Foxx had got in trouble for making a joke before the actual surgery. COMEDIANS JOKE ABOUT PEOPLE! ESPECIALLY CELEBS! TRUE ACCEPTANCE IS GETTING TREATED LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! No free pass we can talk about you like we talk about everyone else.
