With the talk of Sun & moon in a few months I've decided to play through some more pokemon games & pick up a 2ds, since my 3ds broke.


My question is I'll only buy one game today so should it be XY or ORAS.

I've played through every generation since gen 4. Diamond, Heartgold & Soulsilver, Platinum, Black, White 2, & X.

Now I know alot of people will say ORAS since I've already played through X, but XY has a few features ORAS doesn't, such as character customization & Skin tones. Plus I would like to try different teams. I tried to play through emerald on the gameboy but I didn't like it.

Anyway, what would you choose? I wouldn't mind playing through the Kalos region again but I'm not against giving Hoenn a try. Would prefer responses from people who've played through both .

ORAS are better games than XY. Some battles are even difficult, as opposed to being perfectly capable of sweeping the entire game with your starter.

Oras. You don't need friend safari for HA and egg moves which is very nice
