[Nintendo DS] Pokemon y transfer from gen 5 to 6?

How do i transfer my pokemon white 2 pokemon to my pokemon y?

There will be an online pokemon bank opening sometime early december where you will be able to upload your pokemon from b/w2 and download them to X or Y.

As of right now, you can't.

I'm guessing it's to go get a few extra bugs worked out with the app and to make sure that from release day, people aren't using already trained Pokemon or whatever.

Yea but they could have done it like Black/White where after you beat the game you can trade over your Pokemon.

I'd rather wait 2 months and be able to trade 3000 pokemon instantly, than be able to trade 1 at a time immediately.

Idk if you noticed, but B/W and X/Y don't run the same way. X/Y is 3DS exclusive and uses different mechanics to run the game. I doubt trading between the games would even be possible. The Pokemon have different 3D animations, etc.

I know but if I recall correctly from GBA to DS you could insert your game into the DS and migrate your GBA Pokemon over to the DS's Pal Park. I figured if they wanted they could theoretically do the same thing but the Pokebank should make them more money since it has a annual charge.

The pokebank is a better system in every respect. Just wait 2 months. It won't kill you.

Would it be able to tell the difference between someone who happened to be given a hacked version of the gen 4 starters, and someone who got a legitimate version i wonder?
