I bought X but I think it's preference.

Some mega Pokemon are version exclusive, and I think Alakazam and Houndoom are X. As well as Charizard X and Mewtwo X obviously.

Idk honestly. It usually depends on Pokemon preference. I'd like Y probably because it's legendary looks cooler (if you get the Wyvern thing in it). Would have to make sure the Pokemon I'd want to use are in ot though...

I prefer both mewtwo Y and Charizard Y with their uber SpAtk stats and especially Charizards free fire power boost with drought are far better than their X counterparts

though I do prefer Xerneas to Yveltal ... but it doesn't really matter since trading is so easy
