Yes but that shows bad morals, plus if anyone ever found out you'd be called a fluke. But hey to each his own. The competitive scene is trash anyway, when I was actually interested in getting into it I learned about alot of slimy scheming bs that can happen. Even a champion used a hacked mon & got away with it.

Plentyyyyy of tutorials on YouTube, im sure. I don't think its as easy as popping in an action replay anymore.

If you plan on entering tournaments you have to make sure any/everything about the mon seems legit, the stats, date you met, place of encounter, etc. They don't check the legality of the pokeballs though that's how 1-2 champions, meaning people that actually won it all got away with using hacked pokes.

Even though they had Pokemon in only specially obtainable balls.

It's not possible as of now. Don't know if you have a 3DS but do you notice Nintendo pushing out the stupid little updates every 2 weeks? It's for this and the Gateway 3Ds

You can try to ask on pokemon showdown and see if there is a hacked version. As a side note, the hacked Pokemon that are legit are identical to Pokemon caught in game with only difference being time spent trying to get evs, ivs, nature, etc

yea like with hoopa there was its rings all throughout the oras games where you can catch old legends but hoopa itself isnt involved in any of the story. thats why i dont like pokemon. they dont put much efort into it or create dlc bc they know itll sell anyway lol

Not really. But it's easy to spot hacked pokemon especially since the legit Volcanion was an exclusive in Japan for those who preordered movie tickets.

It's more of just ethical differences. Some people don't like the idea of hacked pokemon especially since you can change the stats and in a lot of tournaments they are not allowed.
