Dean is resting in a relatively small town in the middle of the desert because he somehow got lost while riding to Castelia city. The small town, being in the desert is really hot and the air is dry and there is no air conditioning because all the houses are made of stucco and this town has no technology. His gyarados is outside killing and fending of the fighters of this place as they try and take back the royal house Dean kicked their leader out of. Soon, they give up and go back to worshiping a statue of a steelix named Atlas.

Dean: These people will worship anything. That steelix doesn't look special to me.

Dean says this while watching out the window at the foolish bowing people. He orders his Gyarados to use hyper beam on the statue and Gyarados happily does as he is told, shooting a powerful hyper beam and destroying the statue along with some of the people near it. The survivors go crazy and start running around in a panic.

Townsman: Fool, you have brought the wrath of Atlas down upon all of us! He will destroy everything!
Dean: Be quiet.

Just then, the ground starts trembling and breaking apart, then a massive steelix larger than any normal one rose up out of the ground and started wreaking havoc and destruction all around. Then he stops and turns to Dean and his Gyarados who glare back, ready to fight.

(Some made up city at some made up place. The climate changed after the regions collided into eachother so I guess there are going to be new, smaller towns along with the old ones. And new legends and myths too.)

Even though there was clearly a hailstorm it took Marc a while to recognize why Rayquaza wasnt affected by the change in weather. Damn, i forgot about rayquaza's ability to neutralize weather effects. this battle is going to be alot harder than i thought he thinks angrily to himself as his Glalie takes teh full force of Rayquaza's focus blast. Rising up it blasts off multiple ice beams at the giant dragon and prepares for the counterattack.

As marc's glalie takes the full body charge it unleashes a powerful blizzard attack striking rayquaza directly but the massive dragon seems unfazed. "Damn, hes tough." marc swears as glalie slams into the ground. "Not even a full force blizzard to the face slowed him down. Galanice, return!" he exclaimed recalling the weakened pokemon. "Icesickle it's your turn!" he cried out summoning a Weavile to the field. With his high speed and ability to use ice type moves Icicle stands a better chance than Galanice Marc thought as his pokemon squared off against rayquaza. "Alright Icesickle attack with Icy Wind!" he commanded feeling the temperature drop suddenly as his weavile obeyed.

As both Skylar and Charmander wandered around the city of Viridian, a tiny voice could be heard from the other side of the street. It came from a dark alleyway, not too far away from the two who had just started their journey.

"Hmmm?"

Skylar looked in the direction of the sound, but couldn't find the source as he was staring for several seconds. Charmander, who did the same, continued to walk as he started to get hungry.

"Oh, right! I forgot it's lunch time for us now!" Skylar yelled to his fire pokemon as he tried to catch up.​

Villageman: Great god Titan, have mercy!

The steelix notices the man and crushes him instantly with a powerful Iron Tail and proceeds to destroy houses with it. Then turns back to Dean.

Minutes later, Skylar found himself in a café close to the center of the city. He, including Charmander, was waiting for food after their long trip to this very city.

"There's the food! Fiiiiiiinally!" he yelled at the top of his voice as they both saw the waiter walking towards them with huge sandwiches. ​

Atlas powers up his tail and swings it towards Dean, using Iron Tail. Dean doesn't move a muscle and Gyarados parries the attack with Aqua Tail. Then Gyarados strikes Atlas across the face with it, causing him to fall backwards. The villagers gasp in disbelief and a smile breaks across Dean's face. Then Atlas gets back up, evilly chuckling and Dean's smile fades.

Dean: What!?

Atlas then lunges forward and bites down on Gyarados with a Crunch, his super powerful jaws allowing his teeth to break through Gyarados' steel hard scales and draw blood. Titan lashes him around and throws him to the ground and much blood pours from Gyarados as he falls. Dean returns him to his net ball, not wanting him to experience any more pain. Then he sends out Magmar.

Dean: I'll need mobility and special attacks for this fight.
