The guard Chase was talking to turns around angrily and happens to be the male guard from before.

"Who you callin'--! Oh, it's you. Her shift ended, what took you so long? Anyway, you may enter."
He suddenly grabs Chase by the shoulder and speaks in a low, aggressive tone
"But if I see you anywhere near my girl again, you're dead."
Then the guard shoves him to the gates and he pushes a button and speaks into the speaker, telling someone to open the gates and as soon as he does, the massive iron gates slide open and Chase can see the city and all its glory.

There were people everywhere, out in the streets or looking out their windows or porches and dancing to upbeat intense music, there was multicolored lights blazing into the night sky, confetti being shot by cannons, people and pokemon doing arial tricks and other flashy acrobatics across rooftops and whatnot. The whole city was partying.

*Chase is strongly torn between searching for Ghastly and his wallet or banging that dudes girlfriend as much out of spite as lust.*
Wait. I left something very important concerning my sexual conquest in my wallet. Okay now Ghastly is in the way of me getting some so this is urgent.
*Runs around bumping into people and shouting Ghastly wherever he went in a desperate search.*
