Mmkay, so I'm at the part right before the Elite Four.
Party consists of Umbreon, Gyarados, Togetic(what, it's cute >>)Ho-Oh, Meganium and Magneton.
All are lvl 40.

Any tips on beating the Elite Four?
I'm also willing to change any pokemon as necessary and grind them to appropriate level.

BTW don't suggest capturing Raikou and Entei because I've spent the better part of my afternoon chasing after them, and twice I've succeeded in killing one of them and most times I barely do any damage at all.

Agreed with Gats. =/ Lvl them up, buy a bunch of potions/revives before you go in and you should be fine (if you do end up dying, then at least a few of your people should lvl up in the process).

And a psychic type will really help facing 2nd and 3rd :/

yeah agreed. a litle lvl up will help. then u just have to, as always, go for the oponent's weakness. first guy i would go with umbreon. second koga is manly poison pokemon so i dont really know what to use here. maybe ho-oh since some are insect types. 3rd are fighting types so i use ho-oh cuz flying types beat fighting types. the 4th is dark types i dont really know the weakness too so do the best to can to come up with something.
last, lance, dragon type, start with Magneton since he wll start with Gyarados if i am not mistaken, then u need a water type for charizard and a water type for aerodactil.
then u have to beat 3 dragonites and good luck with that. ^^

carlie already knows this, but...

i do speed runs through all badges, elite 4, then kanto badges etc... first elite 4 victory was with these :|

raikou lvl 51.
entei lvl 42.
feraligatr lvl 39.
ho-oh lvl 47.
scyther lvl 39.
zubat lvl 13.


i don't bother catching much except legendaries and stuff to learn HM moves...

scyther = false swipe to help catch entei and raikou easier :|

zubat was there just cos i didn't wanna waste a move slot on ho-oh for fly >_>

can't remember if any died... but if they do i would just bring zubat out and use revive anyway >_>

i never saw much point catching pokemon excl. legendaries until you unlock all the places to catch them... you just find stronger ones in the wild later anyway @_@
(yes i know trained pokemon are stronger but i'm lazy >_> )
