What drives you to keep playing? I like Pokemon too but the game is just :|

If you could battle the wild Pokemon it would be the best app besides clash of clans and clash royale

I'm not playing it.

I'm calling it awesome because it's innovative and entertaining
It's very interesting and socializing to go around and explore the real world incorporated into a game and the fact that this is the first serious project with AR (combined with geolocation at that point) makes it quite demanding as well.

It's a fun way to spend your time and not being able to fight wild Pokemon doesn't mean anything in terms of gameplay as you'd get bored of that too eventually.

This game is much overrated. It's a nice gimmick if you need to kill time while waiting for the bus or so.. but let's be honest, who would really walk dozens of kilometers to hatch some eggs or trying to get some pokemon without a real challenge there?

The game was released with the bare minimum due to the servers being overworked. Because of this, they got rid of a lot that was suppose to be in the game like trading and battling other players. I'm sure when they stop using their Barbie computer attached to an iPod to run the servers, the game will become a lot more in depth and become more enjoyable.

Game is lame you don't battle wild pokomen u just walk around till u find it button mash u can't level them up in battles apparently your supposed to catch the same pokemon over and over gain and make candies you don't level up in gym battles either so yea I'm glad I stopped playing when black and white came out Pokemon has become trash

Also already several of you go morons are causing problems car crashes getting mugged falling off cliffs crowding places not watching where your going I swear I want to shove some of these go players just saw another dead go player body found no tears or sympathy idiot most likely got himself killed

it just shows how people jump from one trend to the next. i mean how long has Pokemon been considered "lame" for? now all the sudden its cool and the new hip thing everyone is doing in all kinds of ages, lame

but the concept isnt a bad idea. it just slightly annoys me when someone's logic behind doing things are "everyone else is into it", or "if this many people like it then it must be good". im really use to it by now and have seen many examples but i dont participate, just observe unless its really profound. this isnt imo

Some of You foos need to stop crying about this. Who cares if people play this. If you think that it's bandwagon. Your just thinking like a little kid and you need to grow up. if you don't like it that's ok no one is forcing you to play. All it does entertain you and actually makes you go outside to get some fresh air. I mean lots of things do that already but this is just another one. Some of You guys are making it seem like if you play this your a follower like geez it's a game for crying out loud. Also it helps you make friends and who wouldn't want that

Pokemon Go release was highly anticipated by a lot of people.

I tried the game myself since I'm a Pokemon fan but the game isn't as great as I thought it would be only because you can't battle the wild Pokemon but only catch them. So I deleted the game.


Does anyone else think this game is overrated ?

I think half the players are actual fans and the other half are hype band wagon.

You CAN battle pokemon!! Just go to a gym nearby and battle them , you deleted it because you're dumbass

I was just discussing this with a friend last night. I've been ridiculed for liking Pokemon (among other "kiddy" stuff) for my entire life basically and now those people are pretty silent.

Just goes to show how well preserved the herd mentality is.
