Ok so im on episode 6 of pokemon season 1 do i carry on or is it childish and silly? Or is their epic fights and plot?

Give up. Do not watch the anime or else you will be extremely disappointed. The games and the manga are REALLY good though so I recommend playing and reading them.

Pokemon is one of the chest anime I watched growing up. I think I was around 10 when it premiered on TV and I gotta say, it was addictive back in the days. It's an epic show for kids. Since I don't know your taste or your age, I can't say for sure whether you should carry on or not. If you like Digimon, Beyblade etc.., then you should continue to watch it. On another note, asking this question after the 6th episode means that you are not really into it

if first season of Indigo league made you interested then watch. I by myself recently come back to Pokemons after many years and watched all from Season 7 to 16 and then again taking a break.

I wouldn't really recommend any now since they are mainly for when you are a child, however, if you are adamant on watching then don't watch anything past the Indigo League - it all turns awful after that.
