Pokemon Alpha/Omega

Any alpha or omega (or any other compatible versions) players out there? My girlfriend bought me omega and i JUST got it. I haven't played a new gen since the original ruby/sapphire games so I know I'm crazy behind. Looking for friends, trades and eventual battles. Do people still EV train?

I told her she gonna get married for that lol. Bought me a 3DS and Omega for my birthday.
I remember getting tossed by a blissey when i first fought an EV trainer, never that shame again
