The hill of snow was hiding a secret path into a strange forest...
Lostlorn forest is now available! Pokemon available:
-Caterpie (string shot, tackle)
-Volbeat (tackle, confuse ray, double team, moonlight)
-Pidove (gust, growl, quick attack)
-Taillow (peck, growl, focus energy, quick attack)
-Yanma (quick attack, double team, sonic boom)
-Shinx (tackle, leer, spark, charge)
*Blake sees the opening and hears the call of a taillow*
Blake: Hmm new pokemon?

As chimchar continues his unrelenting ember assault on the bug types and alot of them fall flaming from the sky

Oak: "Go ahead, choose one."
Mikoto: "I already know which one to pick." (Picks up one of the remaining pokemon)
Oak: "Go ahead, let me see which one it is!"
Mikoto: (Presses button on pokeball) "Come on out, Charmander!"
(Charmander appears from the pokeball)
Oak: "Ah, Charmander. It will take a lot of hard work training this one. Sure you can handle it?"
Mikoto: "Haha, no problem at all!"
Oak: "Go ahead, choose one."

(See's a Shinx moving) Hehe, time to catch my first pokemon! Come on out, Charmander!
(Sends out Charmander)
Charmader, use Tackle! (Charmander rushes at the Shinx. The wild pokemon, suddenly alert, jumps out of the way)
Hmm, this one's quite an agile one. It would make a great team member!
Charmander, use Ember on the ground around the Shinx!
(Shinx is now surround by burning hot gravel. It can't escape!)
Haha, perfect! Now Charmander, Ember towards Shinx!
(The Shinx with nowhere to run is hit directly on the face by the Ember)
It's time! (Mikoto throws a Pokeball. The ball shakes for a while... Shinx is caught!)
Yeah! We did it Charmander! (Introduces Shinx to Charmander)

(Charmander comes out of the pokeball and scratches her butt)
Teal: Use Ember on that Duskull!
(The Duskull is caught by surprise and gets hit, then it uses astonish)
SEVERAL HOURS LATER
Teal: What?! You've beaten my Chimchar!? I don't care, I'll still catch you!
(I throw a pokeball at the duskull and it wiggles once before breaking out, then I throw a duskball at it and it wiggles thrice before finally being caught)
Teal: I got a duskull!
(Both me and chimchar jump up and pose midair for a few minutes before I kick her out of the freeze frame)
Teal: You've failed me thrice in a row Chimchar, you're fired.
Chimchar: Char?
Teal: Shut up
(I release Chimchar from her pokeball and she immediately forgets about me and runs of into the forest)
