I was boried so I decided to make somthing on GIMP instead of Photoshop,

Some more effects would definitely make it much better, it feels a little plain to me.
A few minor ones.
The vertical part of the C4D(lower left) need to be removed or replaced.
Some parts of the hair(edges) are sharpened more than needed.
I'm Not too sure about the text position, I think it would've worked better a little higher and towards center.
Overall it's nice, Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback, I do agree that it looks a little bit plain, but for some reason GIMP didn't allowed me to add another layer, the button was locked and resetting GIMP didn't solved it >.< and to be honest, this is probably one of the most positive feed-backs I got on text, so I think that I am learning it. And now that you mention it, I now see that the edges around the hair are indeed over sharpened >.>) but yeah that is why I also ask for CnC xd

I'm lazy to give full cnc so excuse me here ,nevertheless ... few words
-weak light source
+good depth
-red text is not very pleasant for eyes
+nice concept

and the small touch but also very important: the edges of the render should be more blurred,that would have created even more fantastic depth.

GIMP denied me to add more layers to add extra stuff like a lightsource >.< and yeah I thought that the red of the hair would match with the text about the blurring, yep I already noticed it after Litzsabr mentioned the hair being too sharpened.

You just added some c4d and blurred it and sharpen and added a text with a render that already had a background it did not take skills to make it but i gotta say it does look good

LMAO, if it takes no skill, how do you explain people who can even screw up a simple crop?

And before you jump to conclusions in case you missed it I used a stock and the C4D were used to create depth. It takes quite some time to get it that way and I doubt that any person will be able to replicate if.. If I had used a render and pasted the BG behind her and then had added the C4D it would have taken no skills. If I had said that a render was used, would it have meant that it took more skills to create this? Well the answer is a big and no and IMO it takes even less skill if it was made with a render. If you dont believe me try doing it yourself and notice how much easier if is to work with renders.

And you are also contradicting yourself, a render with a background... I believe that the entire purpose of a render is not having a background xd

The thing is, working with renders is much easier for me than doing something like this, I already spent a hour on doing the C4D. If it was done with a render I could have done it in 5 minutes. And again if you have read my other replies, GIMP denied to use more layers, so I couldnt add anything else... Also what part of your reply can be considered CnC? CnC=constructive critics, but the only thing you said was that it took no skills to make it. Doesnt soind contructive to me. And I am am ordinary GFXer, I am just better than average here on NB.

From my opinion, I think the text looks perfect. In my point it seems kinda retro and that's the way I go when it comes to design, so that's probably just me. I also like the simplicity of the tag overall. No overdose of effects, etc. Just right. I also love the color corrections you made and the blurring was perfect from my point of view. Its a pretty legit tag to me, my kinda stuff.

It depends on what people like. Make sure you keep this type of work up! I personally like the simplistic-retro type of stuff. You can still improve in on what other's like but make sure you keep this type of working up. You somewhat did this tag so well that I think I actually fell in love with it, lol.

GIMP aint even half that bad to be honest, it just lacks a few options compared to PS, but if you can play aroubd with the other settings, you can achieve almost the same.

Well, I would have added a bit moee things, but GIMP denied me to add any more layers, first I thought that there was a cap, but after I merged a few layers the button was still locked >.< I guess that GIMP doesnt like the fact that I prefer PS xd
