Pointless Weapons in Naruto.

This is just some pointless weapons that i've seen in Naruto. Some weapons can just be pointless in Naruto, some are fat and oversized, with no real point. I'm mostly referring to the designs of the weapons. They can be used for a lot of purposes, but their design in general could be a lot better.

Tobi's Guitar Thingy: ( Not sure about the name ) But really, it's just fat and weirdly shaped, it seems like it would be really annoying to move around and swing, a large mallet or something would be 100% more effective, but instead some fat guitar thing that probably weighs twice as much xd

Sai's Short Sword: It's a sword with no pointed tip. It can defiantly be used in battle, but why a flat tip. Wouldn't it be better if it was sharp?

Sarutobi's Weird Pole: It's round and long ( ). I'm not saying it's not bad to use in battle, it can stretch hundreds of meters which makes it really useful, but the pointless part is why a pole, it's hard to hold and would have been better with a mallet or pointed edge at the end, but instead just a flat top. The circular, smooth shape makes it hard to hold as it would probably slide out of Sarutobi's hands.

Tobi's weapon is Madara's Signiture Uchiha Fan, I think it's actually called an Uchiha (Don't quote me)

I'm still not fully understanding you. I don't think kunai and shuriken have ever hit anyone with the slightest bit of skill. Tobi's war fan blocked a Rasengan and is used (at least by Madara) for Wind Style Jutsu. Sasi's tanto is still more useful than kunai and shuriken imo. I'd rather have a sword with no tip than a very small bladed throwing dagger. And the Adamantine Staff knocked back the Nine Tails and resisted (barely) the Sword of Kusanagi.

As a practitioner my self, i can assure you that Sarutobi's pole is a very devastating weapon in combat, you can severely damage a human with it.

Tobi wields a gunbai, it is not a weapon but he and Madara combined it with the chain and sickle (maybe it is a sword), turned it in to a good combo for offence and defense,

Not sure about Sai, he has a Tento but it is tip less, so yes it is not very useful in battle.

While others seem bit questionable but Tobis weapon is actually what Madara used when he fought Hashi I believe I read somewhere that the fan can absorb some ninjitsu or deflect it not sure.

The weapons have pointless designs, that's what i'm saying. You can't possibly improve a Kunai or Shuriken any more then what they are now. I see no flaws in their design.

The Adamantine Staff is great and all, and has many uses. But the design itself is pretty bad, it's round, smooth and heavy. Which would make it hard to use. And Sai's sword would make it very hard to kill anything with a stab seeing as a non-pointed sword wouldn't pierce past a Konoha Outfit.

Tobi's giant guitar thing is just a fat, weirdly shaped weapon that would be very hard to use in real life. It looks really heavy, and doesn't seem to serve a point in offensive feats. It can defiantly be used in many ways, as any weapon could. But the design can be a lot better to serve a better purpose.

Not sure about the first two.
But the pole that Enma turned into was said to be harder than/as hard as diamond and Hiruzen was pretty good at using it. Plus it could act autonomously like growing arms n attacking opponents

The War Fan from Tobi just blocked an odama rasengan from Naruto e_e. I dont know many weapons that can do that and its functions are like from hidans triple bladed scythe. Well expect that it smashes instead of cutting and stabbing.

Tanto or how you call it a short sword is a sword designed for assasinations and slashing thats because every Root ANBU carries one. If it would have a sharp tip then the wielder would just charge at the opponet and get hurt/killed. Theres no point a short sword would have a sharp tip.

Adaminte staff is very useful. It can morph into the Ape to aid in battle, it can increase/decrase its size to match the situation and can make a defensive cage around the user. One of the best weapons in Narutoverse. Sarutobi is very skilled with it.

The "guitar" is a fan called Gunbai. It has high defense and is used by high ranking people in battle in old Japanese time.
Sai's sword I laughed when I saw it, thought to myself "Why is it so short???"
Sarutobi's(I think you meant to say Hiruzen, The Third Hokage.) Is a staff that was transformed by Enma, his monkey summon. It is really powerful,made of Adamantine, able to extend and push Kurama out of the village.

Sarutobi's staff is a summon for Goku. They were close so that is why he uses it lol. Also in chinese legend the monkey king is most commonly associated with a staff as his weapon of choice.

They are specialized with these weapons. Some people can wield weird ones better than a normal one. And you dont know yet if the Madara's fan has a secret power.
