Pointless discussions in NarutoBase (NB)

I am glad to know that there is a community which provides a platform for many anime fans throughout the world.
I'm not sure if there is another thread already stating these points, but anyhow I'll be creating this thread supposing there isn't.

It's been quite a while since I've joined NarutoBase and I've realized that there are threads predicting the winner of upcoming battles, such threads in my opinion are an utter waste of space in NB.. Not that the prediction and discussion is bad, it is the comparison of skills and the fixated minds of fans that bother me. Narutoverse runs on a plot which CAN NOT simply be predicted in such a manner, unless you're kishi ofcourse.
This thread is not meant to criticize this community or hurt any of the naruto fans but simply an appeal to those fans to stop trying to be wanna-kishis. U_U
Another thing I would like to argue is that you have no right to abuse kishi, it's his story and the plot is all in his hands. If you feel you can write Naruto better than Kishi then feel free to.

Mind your words when you write a reply and try to maintain decency

Well not exactly. There's a manga with a name of Uzumaki (means whirlpool and I thought the manga had something to do with horror) so it's not as if a name can only be used once by every mangaka.
There will only be problems if someone else steals the plot, characters or complete names of a serie and claim it as their own. But names on their own *shrugs* Don't think you can get copyright of a name on its own (unless you name your serie Naruto as well of course)

@Kirikoe: even in fanfictions one has to put a disclaimer. There are even sites which will remove stories if they don't have a proper disclaimer stating they don't own the work of which they are writing fanfiction of. I should know - I've been writing fanfiction for a few years already and I'm a member of a site which will remove fanfictions in case there is no proper disclaimer

OT: I think this is better suited for the chatterbox section. Also people will do what they want to do, so a thread isn't going to change their mind about something

I don't think you can stop fans from speaking and also its their right if they want to make predictions. They are just presenting their thoughts. Its a good way to interact with others also. I agree with your other point kishi shouldn't be abused but i agree with other responses also that it was pointless to make such a thread

I'm not against prediction but I'm merely stating that a person can not decide who would win a battle, it has been proven several times in narutoverse.
Abilities, strength or intelligence can not decide who will be the winner.

Moreover I'm not a dictator who is trying to take rights, what would I even get by doing that? I'm just saying one can't simply decide the future of naruto

No one is trying to decide future of naruto here and also the comparison among character isn't just a waste. If someone thinks that one character is better than other and is giving evidence in support of it or also if he is asking for opinion than i don't see what is wrong with it

ýup it is true that one can't exactly predict what is gonna happen in manga but what is wrong in trying ?
i find such threads entertaining and interesting.
