I made this poem based on character named Feanor. I read JRR Tolkien's masterpiece called The Silmarillion and i made a poem based on him. I used a little skill from what i learned from William Shakespeare.

Today,and Today, and Today
Runs in this petty fate from row to row,
To the last word of recorded time;
And all our lighted days filled with enlightened fools.
The way to darkest death. Gone, gone , short-candle!
Death's but a walking shadow, a prideful player,
That steps and washes his hour upon the stage
And heard no more. It is a rumor
Told by an idiot, full of hallucinogens and fury,
Signifying nothing!

I will be grateful if you rep. =D

This is fantastic!

Having read that wonderful tale....many of the parts make sense!

The analogy of the light representing the Silmarils as well as how the poem gives me a mood of irony/regret! Which matches perfectly due to Feanor kin slaying and going against (dying) against I believe Morgoth (or Gothmog can't remember which), and led to his dying in both shame and in vain.

And aftwr tht leaving the foolish legacy that cost the lives of his sons with their vow to recover the silmarils :D

Amazing work!
