I have to get this off my chest.
My favorite disney classic has been ruined.
Why? Because I watched the sequel.
I was so angry at the end when they gave Pocahontas a new love interest and and made John Smith look like a pile of mud. It annoyed me so much. I was so excited to watch it. But they messed it up... Am I the only person that feels this way?

I never liked Pocahontas to begin with. But I'll agree her character was messed up, I watched this with my lil sis. And it was different from the original.

The movie's only claim to fame is that it's slightly more historically accurate than the first film.
While I do prefer the original, I find both very boring. Great animation and songs, though.

It's based on what really happened, except she never had any romance with John Smith irl, it was only made that way in fiction. She did marry John Rolfe tho, so this movie tries to capture the actual history, tho only slightly.

Pocahontas was my favorite too. I was furious when I saw the sequel.:devil: Well, the real Pocahontas does end up with that guy instead of John Smith. Lol
