Unless Both of them get power from all 9 tailed beast again they will never surpass their teenage counterparts.

Kaguya and VOTE 2 were clearly their primes, people like to believe in their fan fiction tales. Just look at the feats, Naruto and Sasuke were clearly weaker in The last, Gaiden, and Boruto then against kaguya and Vote 2.

He is right though, in the last Naruto is able completely separate from kurama, while in his chakra mode to boot. As well as use kuramas chakra directly in base mode.
