I'd not recommend Bleach. It literally took me up until chapter 170-ish to like it.Same with Inuyasha, though I liked that from the start. . There are entire manga arcs that are useless, filler. . .

Soul Eater's manga was good, the anime was too. But I'd suggest reading the amnga first and then gradually watching the anime. The anime does differ greatly from the manga, FYI.


And of course Dragon Ball.

I just started watching an anime called Attack on Titan. It is amazing and it is all of the genres that you said you liked. Once I catch up on the anime im going to start reading the manga. But for starters I would go with the basics of one piece and bleach.

Don't try one peace... Trust me you will finish it when you are 30.
Mabye bleach, but instead of reading it all look up what has been happening up until 140 chapter so you get fill in without reading 100 of chapters.Also try War on the titans i think.
