Is this something info that can be actually discerned in the manga through their encounter or is this just a theory ?

And to chime in one the original post of this thread.please explain how this is a plot hole ?

Most people ...no all people on narutobase cry plot hole all the time it ALWAYS ends up being that they had no idea what they were talking about,confused plot hole with plot device or called something a plot hole because they lack information on certain things which is always accounted for by later chapters.

Aizen turning him down was not something he needed to look into the future for an he said of course aizen turn me down as If he already knew it would happen or the down side to his power is that his future visions he has or whatever aren't always correct.

Or he could not use it yet back them cuz he needed rest an needed to gain more souls to increase his power.
