I've thought about this before.... How come in the manga, Itachi told Sasuke about Izanagi and Izanami. How could the Uchiha use those techniques if they didn't have the Mangekyo Sharingan? Don't you need those eyes to use Izanagi and Izanami? What a big pothole..

Danzo used the Sharingan that were implanted in his arm to use Izanagi, none of which were MS...

You need regular sharingan, mate. Danzo used 12(?) of them against Sasuke and Obito used regular one for Izanagi against Konan the barbarian.

The Mangekyo Sharingan ain´t necessary for Izanagi, can´t say for certain about Izanami but doubt it. For Izanagi, Tobi said one´d need both Uchiha and Senju DNA, but with the story Itachi told about some Uchiha abusing Izanagi it sorta gave a strange different impression.

well who told u that MS is compulsary to use izanagi and izanami...it can be used with a regular sharingan also...the only thing is that ur eye is gone once u use that jutsu...
