i think this would make a kick ass plot twist to the story line. kagami promises tobi the location of the birth place of naruto and tobi shares his vast knowledge and power with kagami? This petfectly explains why kagami wasnt with hiruzen and the othet team during the fox attack

kagami promises tobi he wont intervene with the fox attack and stays low until its over.

seeing as tobi's plan doesnt go according to plan he gets rid of kagami. done deal.

Well, it would make more since if Tobi was Kagami. Kushina talks with Mikoto heading towards the birth place, Mikoto tells Fugaku that Kushina is now having her baby and Fugaku tells Tobi to unleash the nine tails so it can weaken the village so the Uchiha can take advantage of Konoha's weakened state and take power. We already know Tobi has OP sensing abilities so the problem is not where Kushina is having her baby, but when.

Or Danzo put Tobi up to it to place the blame on the Uchiha.

Or Tobi is some random guy who wanted to destroy Konoha on a whim.

Seriously people, Kagami is just as important as the other useless people in that group (the ones who's names I can't and don't care to remember).

You might as well ask why the other three ninja in that group weren't present. Or all Uchiha for that matter. Maybe they were just providing a second line of defense.
