Plot solos logic AGAIN

So i've been looking at the trailer and im thinking about how Naruto is fighting with Shikamaru Hinata Sakura Sai and even Gaara. This bothers me a bit because its like Sasuke and Naruto were enough to beat Kaguya.. So unless this toneri guys more powerful than HER Naruto and Sasuke should be more than enough. In fact given the fact its 3 years later those two should be even stronger than before.

So if Toneri is actually stronger or more of a threat than kaguya to me thats b*lls*it because he has literally had noooo foreshadowing or relevance in the current story. No hype no mention nothing. 0. So how can he be stronger than the indirect progenitor of all chakra amongst humans. Unless Naruto and Sasuke have lost their so6p it all seems illogical.

Shikamaru = Tactician
Gaara = Range and Diversion Offense and Ultimate Defense
Naruto = Direct Offense.

It's literally the best team to scan and get information on what seems to be a formidable threat.

Tonrei doesn't have to be more powerful than Kaguya though. Kaguya was a dummy with her powers.
Someone like Madara would've DESTROYED Naruto and Sasuke if he had the powers that Kaguya had. So Tonrei,
as long as he is of around Sage level, he can pose a threat that Naruto and Sasuke would struggle to beat together.

I mean Kaguya would of neg diff naruto and Sasuke, but if not for the team work of three people (haxx eyes, 100healing, and god tactician) they all would of been dead.
