Why couldn't Sasuke just use susanoo to block both ? Or Naruto summon a clone barrage to do the same... They cearly had enough chakra to do both...
I think kishi is just looking for an excuse to kill off Obito in a "cool" way...

BS he was able to Kamui. He had enough chakra which was obviously given by Sasuke. Kakashi said that they needed him. This makes him look rather selfish.

First, Obito never had Susanoo, heck, he didn't even have Amaterasu, which was kind of a requirement. Second, he was too exhausted from over-use of kamui, it's implied that that alone nearly killed him. Third, most important and what most people are forgetting, Obito actually wanted to die.

He was still using Kamui and running around. He wasn't tired as Sasuke obviously gave him some chakra to get back.
