I'm not sure if this has been stated or not but do you guys realise this war is pointless? It has already been shown the other 2 tail beast aren't need to get the ten tails. Also obito already stated he was going to start infinite tsukuyomi without having the 8 and 9 tails. I know this is all part of the plot to make it a good story but couldn't obito actually just avoided all of this?

It was stated that Jubi is required to be in its perfect state in order to perform the Infinite Tsukuyomi, as well as that the Ninja Alliance presented both a threat and severe hindrance to its coming. Control of the Jubi was also to be mentioned as quite difficult without being its host, which is as to why Madara is relying on Obito to revive him so that he may become the ten tails Jinchuuriki. However one rather irritating thought that is in agreement is that Obito is stalling and wishes to teach the entire alliance true despair.

Well we don't know if the Infinite Tsukuyomi created by a weakened Juubi will have any flaws or not. Maybe Kishi set this up so that the villains achieve their goal but they create an imperfect world that the characters can break out of (a big stretch but who knows?)

Well he has "some" of the chakra from the remaining two tailed beasts, I'm sure he would become far stronger if he had the whole. Maybe that's why his appearance is so "lanky" and his arm is mal-formed.
