Now If Naruto had just made a mini tailed beast bomb or rasenshuriken and Kakashi warped that instead of a rasengan Tobi would be dead right now.

They wern't sure it would work, I doubt naruto wanted to waste more chakra creating a TBB incase it didn't work and blew up in his face.

There were just testing something, None of them done it with the intent to kill because none of them knew what the result would be.

if you didnt hear what kakashi said he said he wanted to try something to test if tobi would get hit by the rasengan. if naruto used tbb he could have just wasted chakra if it didnt work

It's exactly the same thing that Tobi didnt warp Naruto, because of plot. Tobi could use Uchiha Kaenjin to capture both Naruto and Tobi and go inside and warp both - also plot.


And like Skylar Knight said: they tested it. Now that he knows what going on, the same thing won't happen. Kakashi have already used kamui 3 times, in the pain arc he died for using it 2 times

Kakashi didn't die until a 3rd Kamui
