so according to latest Chapter, we know that edos were not affected by mugen tsukoyomi, which means genjutsu doesnot work on edos
then how did kotoamatsukami worked on itachi?
moreover kabuto used genjutsu on itachi and sasuke
plot hole?

i think its because MT is different. i comes from third eye which is rare and requires things to open it. the eye itself is already different. furthermore, it uses moon as 'mirror' so its kinda undirectly too

genjutsu can work on edos.....the dream matrix tech dont work on these edos because it requires the chakra of the people who are still alive...so edos dont count

MT sucks the vital energy out of the bodies of the living humans. Edos are empty corpes who don't have any vital energy in them. therefore the MT doesn't need them and doesn't affect them.
It's the same as Madara wanted to become the Jinchuuriki of the 10T. He couldn't because he wasn an empty corpse and not a living body.

Which makes sasukes susanoo so dark that the tree didnt know they existed almost like they were dead themselves.

No genjutsu work against Edo but their immunity to IT is clearly from a different source not Genjutsu Proof... Kishi will explain their immunity don't jump to conclusions...
