Actually, I Kabuto doesn't still feel him for all we know. The reason he felt that Itachi wasn't responding was most likely because of the Rinnegan and Nagato that were present.

I still think that he's too much of a mastermind to get caught off guarded. He has snakes that guard the forest, he can put up a barrier or something else, he caught Anko's team quite easily.

I just doubt that Itachi will just appear on Kabuto's doorstep and Kabuto will go ''OMG!WTF!'' and die. :shrug:
