Plot Hole on Konahamaru's dad

We don't have info on Kono's parents, doesn't change the fact that they exist.

I'm aware of that his parents haven't been revealed however I'm assuming that Hiruzen may have adopted or taken in Konhamaru's dad thus making him his grandfather though not by blood. Only an assumtion.

That is completely irrelevant in the manga. It's by no means a plot hole. Adopted or not, I don't think anyone cares.

I just wanted to address this. I know people claim that Naruto has a lot of plot holes but I don't believe this to be true. People claim things like how it was impossible for Obito to give Nagato his rinnengan if Nagato is older but that was just people who got their facts mixed up. (Madara gave Nagato the rinnengan and Obito was entrusted to make sure Nagato awakened it).

Anyways, I'm not one to obsess on finding plot holes but I can't get this one out of my head. Konohamaru as we all know, is the third Hokage Hiruzen's grandson. But when looking at the Sarutobi family tree it starts with Sasuke Sarutobi whose son is Hiruzen. The problem comes then because Sasuke only had one son and Hiruzen and his wife Biwako Sarutobi had only one son Asuma. Asuma then has a baby with Kurenai (name unknown) so it's understandable that the baby is the grandson of Hiruzen. Konohamaru though is a mystery. Asuma is his uncle but Asuma has no brother to be Konahamaru's dad. I do not think he was 'adopted' as a grandfather from Hiruzen.

I'm new here so I'm not sure if there has been numerous threads on this before but it would be nice if someone could explain the situation or confirm that it indeed is a plot hole.

It's not a plot hole. It's never been stated Hiruzen only had one child. Konohamaru is likely either the son of another child who has never been shown, as is implied. However, I suppose it's possible he could be Asuma's son whom Asuma left with Hiruzen after the two had their disagreement and Asuma left Konoha.

That is because we don't know about Asuma's sibling(s). Think about it this way: We know that Minato had parents (after all someone had to give birth to him), but we know nothing about them. Therefore they aren't listed on the wiki. Might Dai just got introduced not too long ago, and he therefore wasn't listed on the wiki until not too long ago.

Additionally, the wiki doesn't know everything, nor are they always right. This is not to discredit them as they are right about many things, but they have also often changed lists or made mistakes. For example, the wiki for a time said that Minato had given Naruto yin Kurama back when Obito was the 10 tails jinchuuriki, but we all know that to be false as Naruto just got yin Kurama recently. The wiki later retracted their mistake.

They may not be relatives by blood. Naruto call random ppl uncle, aunt, grandma, etc without blood relation.

Konohamaru may have been adopted (unlikely: has fire affinity and can use rasengan)

OP, you're overthinking it.

Here's what we know: Asuma is Hiruzen's son. Konohamaru is Asuma's nephew and Hiruzen's grandson. They all share the same last name (Sarutobi).

So if Asuma is NOT Konohamaru's father, it simply means that Hiruzen has a 2nd son that has never been introduced, and that 2nd son is Konohamaru's father. Just because Asuma is the only son of Hiruzen that actually appears in the show, it does not mean that he is Hiruzen's only son. It's never mentioned in the anime or the manga.
