he did not just know about it. He just hadnt train on how to use it because he isnt an Uchiha. So he had to train to master it little by little.
The eyes activated also because the two eyes came together. Obito appearing at where kakashi is also initiated the activation of the MS. But in all, it activated in Obito and affected kakashi, thats why he could not control it and fainted.

This is all incorrect, Kakashis eye didnt develop until long after Obitos did. They both experianced the loss of a loved one. but since Kakashi isnt an Uchiha it took longer for his to activate.
But the eye is the eye, and the eye has powers, regardless of you being an Uchiha, if you have the eye you have its powers.

Actually if you read the manga, it shows kakashi's sharingan evolve at the same time then he passed out. The scan has half of obito's and kakashi's face (like a mirror) evolving at the same time right before obito goes crazy on the anbu. I'd post the scan but I'm on my phone

It isn't a plot-hole. It's clearly explained through images and Tobirama's analysis. The manga showed that Obito could see through Kakashi's eye, as if they were a pair. Which means, since Obito was close, the eyes began acting as a pair for Obito.

Kakashi's Sharingan cannot evolve. He lacks Uchiha Blood and Chakra - both things explicitly required for sharingan mutations and its usage at optimum level. Both of these are canonical facts. Since he lacks the Blood and chakra, his Sharingan cannot mutate.

It's just that simple. Any other statements are just fanboy ramblings and self-serving misinterpretations.

Maybe that special chakra sprouts inside everyones brain, but only affects Uchiha because of their Doujutsu.

@everyone saying things about Obito: That wouldn't explain why Kakashi's eyes evolved. The special chakra anatomically affects the eyes of the host, so, unless Kakashi and Obito's anatomy is "linked" somehow, that'd be impossible.

Eh, it is linked. Kakashi can see what Obito does, and Obito can see what Kakashi does. Obito gaining MS caused Kakashi to gain MS. He later passed out, though, due to the strain.

Yeah, I have no proof Obito knows the intricacies behind the sharingan. But he was Madara's pupil and he had a rinnengan that can read the tablet fully so there is a chance he might know. It doesn't say anywhere that he doesn't know for sure either. So i guess I can just interpret his words at face value.

Kakashi is non-Uchiha but he can still use the Sharingan. He cannot use it fully - it drains his chakra - but it's not a dead organ. If he can use it, I am inclined to believe that Kakashi can develop it further. Tobirama explains you need to experience trauma to change your eye into sharingan. You need to experience trauma again - particularly the death of a loved one - to change it to mangekyou. I agree with you on that.

Sound familiar? Kakashi had the same problem. He cannot even turn off the Sharingan, which means he lacks the capability to even stop the chakra supply to the eye. How can you say that he has the ability to mutate through a nonexistent chakra, when he cannot even control the eye that was originally transplanted?

This is further cemented by the fact that he shares the same pattern and has the same ability as Obito. The evidence is far too overwhelming to support the fact that Kakashi never awoke it. It's just kakashi fanboys denying facts.

Since Naruto have the Sage power, he could had created a rinnegan eye to Kakashi.
Naruto had the cloak, bijuu, senju, = Sage cloak, bijuu, senju

If the tablet has the secrets of mangekyou sharingan, it has information on sharingan mutation. There's no way to know for sure so it's really just a possibility that Obito might know. I just can't rule it out right away because of that.

Ao - I forgot that guy honestly. He didn't have problems turning the byakugan on and off. But Hyuuga don't awaken their byakugan; they were born with the white eyes.

I don't disagree with you that the original owner has the perks of the dojutsu. It also says the pair is stronger together. I guess I'm just confused because they eyes in Obito and Kakashi are connected. I think it was imperative for Kakashi to feel trauma for him to be able to get the MS. Hmmm... If Kakashi was far away from Obito when Obito awakens MS, then his eye automatically turns to MS too? Just because it's Obito's eye? Or if Kakashi didn't feel trauma but Obito is near when he awakens MS, then his automatically turns to MS too? Just because the eyes are proximate?

I can't explain for the same pattern and same ability. Maybe because these powers are latent in the eye and the eyes are originally a pair. They are powerful together so it makes sense that they can have the same ability or that they complement each other. I really can't make sure
