Plot Hole in Madara Releasing Edo Tensei

This will be a relatively short thread because there isn't a large amount to discuss but i've noticed something strange about Madara knowing the seal to independently release Edo Tensei.

Everyone claims that because Madara and Tobirama lived around the same time, he undoubtley saw Tobirama perform the technique and etc and eventually he figured out how to release it, in case he ever needed it.


However in the Tobirama and Hashi vs Hiruzen fight where, Tobirama was brought back as a Edo, he himself, the creator of the Jutsu who was the only person who Madara could of learned the technique from didn't release the Jutsu so he could side with Hiruzen and yet that the same time Madara, someone seemingly unrelated to the Jutsu knew how to.


If anyone has the answer to this, a explanation would be good as my memory from that Hiruzen fight is a bit fuzzy.

If I remember correctly, Oro stuck something in the back of their head so they couldn't release themselves.

Orochimaru destroyed their intelligence with his tags. He brought them down to the point where they couldn't even speak, they were just mindless puppets. But good catch anyway, I haven't thought about that.

Tobi,orochimaru,so6p,hes sons,hashi & kabuto are all connected, ORO had LARGE amount of info about "forbidden" techniques, i think he knew thing or 2 about edo tensei too, and that's why he placed tags so nobody could release from technique, madara was once respected ninja in konoha, he must have heard ATLEAST something about edo tensei, and seems like he did cuz he first had fun and released ittt lol.

Tobirama could have done it, but his body was in control of orochimaru.

What people are lacking is logic, if the 1st and 2nd tried anything oro would have put the seal into them faster or straight away.

He wanted hiruzen to feel the shock in talking to his masters to traumatise him. The guy standing behind the 1st and the 2nd was in control they move, then seals in.

It's the same with itachi and his mum and dad, why didn't the dad run away or fight you ask? because if he moves itachi will have to kill him faster or right away.

Some times you have to think logicly about a situation even when it is a manga, not just why didn't he release him self he should known the seals.

yeah oro had complete control over them - oro wasnt being attacked and never released the technique himself - leaving a gap for tobi to release the edo
