I don't think they are really immortal, at least not against the powers that sasuke weilds. Hagoromo created the bijuu with the rinnegan, if he can do that I wouldn't be surprised if sasuke could destroy them with the rinnegan.

If all else fails, sasuke could just seal them in chibaku tensei and send them into the darkness of space where no one will be able to reach them.
