Hey, I am not trying to make myself sound awesome but when I read books, I can predict literally everything that you can possibly predict. 80% of the times I am right.
For example I know in books if they mention someone very powerful they will show him later on as you don't introduce things in books without a reason.
Ill give you an example, if you read Heroes of Olympus, it's obvious that Gaea will get revived.
Another example I can give you (I haven't read it fully, please don't spoil it for me)
is in the hunger games, the last book, obviously someone important(good guy) has to die in order for there to be a tragic moment, and so there can be a sudden shock. That person can't be too important as the readers will be unhappy with the ending/book, so my prediction is Katiness's sister, as she has a strong bond with her, she is not too main but still is important enough to give the readers a shock and make them emotionally upset.
I can also tell what parts of the books are fillers and how characters are used as plot devices.
One example I can give you is in the hunger game(mocking jay), Katiness gets sent to one of the districts so she can get recorded and so she can be more natural and not be scripted.That whole fight scene was a filler just so the writer could give some action to the reader.
Anyhow, I can predict stuff in books and find them very boring, the more i read the more i get better. I am to the point where I no longer want to read as I know most of the stuff that will happen, and can tell that there are often filler content which is pointless to read as it doesn't effect the story in the end in anyway.
Is there any advice you can give me to start enjoying books again?
