me and my friend got on a argument. my friend said itachi could've defeated the old madara who fought hashirama. he think itachi could've take down the madara who fought hashirama not the edo tensei one tho. i think it is impossible because madara was the second strongest shinobi after hashirama that time. madara summoned 9 tails and my friend said itachi could've broke the genjutsu and defeated madara and 9 tails like hashirama said. what is your opinion folks ? i know ya'll are like the experts int his!

If Itachi breaks the Genjutsu, Madara can just put the Nine Tails right back in it. And while Yata Mirror would block all of Madara's attacks, it would leave Itachi exhausted and out of Chakra. So Madara wins due to Itachi's stamina.
